To get the maximum benefits of eating fruits you should eat them in the morning just after having your morning rituals and having a glass of water. You should never eat fruits along with the meals or with just after it. There is a reason behind it. Fruits take only half an hour to get digested while carbs in your regular meals take 4-5 hours to get fully digested. When eaten along with meals or just after it, the nutrients of the fruits do not get absorbed in the bloodstream properly.

If you are a diabetic or suffer from any digestive ailment like acidity, you need to eat fruits half an hour after having your meals. You can also consider having fruits an hour or two after having your meals.
